Satanic child abuse claims are almost certainly based on false memories | Chris French | Science | The Guardian.

Refreshing to see one newspaper not jumping on the panic-bandwagon…

We can only hope that we are not on the cusp of a new witchunt like that seen spearheaded by irrational media outlets in the 1980’s and 1990’s where any persons practising a pagan or Satanic theology/philosophy were publicly destroyed in many cases.

Although, it is interesting that in the aftermath of Jimmy Saville and Rotherham then any such claim has to be taken seriously regardless of if is a poorly founded accusation without evidence or not. Such a serious approach has clearly been lacking in the past. One must then question why claims against Catholic priests are not investigated with such enthusiasm.
